Thank you for all your help for a truly magical and fairytale wedding. We had a truly splendid time. Upon arrival, they were ready to take us under her wing. At every step she was a pure joy to work with. The planning, restaurant recommendations, help picking out the cake, where to find anything we might need. Not a thing was missed, because their attention to detail and hospitality. We can't thank you enough. Especially Julie for being a part of our wedding and performing the ceremony. You will always be in a hearts for taking the time for this special moment in our lives. We always knew we wanted to have a destination wedding. Thank you for making it so easy . The time we spent in Italy will always be a beautiful memory for us forever! Also, we can't thank the chefs enough for making absolutely amazing food each night for us. Getting together with our friends and family with splendid food and wine, was truly one of the best parts of our trip. Our guests are waiting for a reunion...hope to see you soon. We can't thank you and your staff enough, you made our dreams come true.

As a little girl I always dreamed of the fairytale wedding, little did I know that it would come true. Our friends and family gave us lots of advice, warning us that arranging the wedding would be a stressful experience, so heeding their advice we visited Italy nearly a year before the wedding. However after meeting Camilla and Julie, seeing the beautiful location we booked and tasting the fantastic food we realised we were in safe hands, our whole wedding experience was relaxed, easy and enjoyable. On the wedding day the only thing I had to worry about was still fitting into my dress, after spending the week lounging by the pool and enjoying the fantastic Italian food. Not only did Wedding Italy I Do give us our dream day but we have also made great friends – Thank you.

To say that we had a ‘fairytale’ wedding might sound a bit cheesy, but there really is no other way to describe the time we spent in Italy. We were always determined to get married abroad and have a day that was unique to us, and we were prepared for this to take a lot of time and stress to organise. We needn’t have worried: Wedding Italy I Do made the entire experience a joy.
It was great having someone who knew what they were doing taking care of all the things that usually cause stress for brides-to-be, and being left with just the fun things to do (choosing what to wear, eat, drink, listen to etc).
The place was just stunning and the apartments where our guests stayed for the week, were of the highest standard. All of the suppliers that Julie and Camilla uses are of the highest quality; the food and wine were amazing, the flowers beautiful, and the musicians superb. To top it all off, they found us a very talented photographer who immediately understood what we wanted and captured the day in a way that most couples can only dream of.
The amazing experience that we all shared was all anyone could talk about at the time and not much has changed seven months later! We feel so lucky to have had our dream wedding, and will always be very grateful to Julie and Camilla and their team for making it happen for us.
Thank you, it was amazing.

After 10 years of being married, by civil, we took the decision to proceed with the religious ceremony. We want this ceremony to be not only special for us, but also for our friends.
So we booked the Castle for 15 days to spend time with our family and friends, and
have the party. When we arrived at the Castle, we already knew that we were going to have an amazing time. The Castle is spectacular as the lake, the views, the settings and the history. Then... we met Julie, she was more spectacular than everything. She not only helped us to meet all our requirements (that were a lot ), but thanks to her, I had my religious wedding.
She was my friend, my translator, my support and my planner, all at the same time.
She handled every situation that presented. As foreigners we know how difficult is to be in a
country were we cant speak the language (even when we can understand everything, like in our case) and have a person that can handle everything for you, in a special moment like this having a person like Julie, listening to what you really need and want, is priceless. Julie, you are the best !!! She really makes you feel at home. Her family is amazing!! They are all ready to help, and make you feel welcome. Everything was just perfect... The church, (San Vito Church), the Priest, who is the sweetest priest on earth!!) and the setting, the photographer, the Chefs, the waiters, the amazing chorus of musicians, (AMAZING!!) the florists , the rental company, the caretaker at the castle (sweet lady), all of them THANK YOU!!! for making that day more special , for creating these amazing family/friends memories.
Until today we are still talking about it. And we are already planning our next summer trip over there. THANK YOU JULIE!!!

Months after out wedding in the Castle our guests continue to email us to thank us for including them in such a “fairytale wedding / experience. ”Our wedding at the castle was just that a fairytale. A fairytale made easy with the guidance of Julie Palombaro and her family. From the time we located the castle on the Internet to the time the cake rolled out at the end of the reception, it was an experience of a lifetime. Many times I heard,” how are you going to organize a wedding overseas?” The answer? Easy, via internet. I felt completely taken care of in the hands of Julie Palombaro, she became someone to depend on, trust and befriend. With Julie’s help every plan or request was “doable.” She organized; the quartet, the florist, 12 course wedding menu, cooks for the week, even a three foot in diameter and three inch thick tiramisu cake. She also went above and beyond to organized the bachelor dinner / party. Arriving in Italy two weeks prior to the wedding to travel and relax before the week at the castle, nothing prepared us for the moment we turned up the tree lined drive that lead us up to the majestic castle. Yes, we studied the photos Julie sent us, but they certainly could not portray what “the real beauty” of it all. We turned up the tree-lined drive and stopped the car with our mouths agape. Clicking away out the window with our camaras we wanted to capture that moment of this beautiful entrance that seemed like a fairytale already, we were not prepared for what would occur next. Driving through the renaissance like gate we view the castle that is so big now our breaths are taken away. Every step we took our eyes widened in disbelief that we were actually present and getting married in such a beautiful place. Our guests responded with the same awestruck response. There was no need to worry about decorations; Umbria and the castle were our decorations until Julie and the caterer surprised us with the breathtaking ambiance they designed and set up for the reception.
They began with a reception in the woods with the quartet and the buffet of appetizers while the bride and groom were busy with the photographer. Soon later the quartet moved down to the castle where the four-hour, 12-course dinner began in the beautifully decorated courtyard with tables and umbrellas. For a bride that wanted little to do with the stress of her wedding but wanted an experience for her guests and a wedding to remember, they, and we, will not soon forget our wedding at the castle as it was a memory that continues to bring smiles to my face and the faces of the guests who attended when fondly reminiscing.

What a wonderful time we had from start to finish… I would always recommend going to see the location first but that is only to meet Julie and Camilla and start the organisation of your wedding properly. From that point on and certainly for us, they take control from there- nothing was too much trouble and in spite of us being in England we never once were concerned that our special day would not go according to plan. Upon arriving in Italy the week of our wedding, everything was set up for us to have a memorable week. Our time with friends and family was a week that we shall all never forget and with trips out to Pisa, Florence and Rome adding to the experience and to happy memories. The day of our wedding was perfect in Perugia, the wedding celebrations back at the castle beyond expectations- thank you Julie and Camilla for making our wedding a perfect one. We have since been back for a nostalgic visit- its a place we shall return to time and time again.

It was truly an incredible experience from start to finish and one that far surpassed our expectations. Wedding Italy I Do help was invaluable; they hand-picked the suppliers from flowers to music, helped with guest arrangements, acted as a translator, and in the end even stepped in to perform our ceremony! While our relationship started as “coordinator-client,” we parted with a deep friendship. When we arrived home from the honeymoon, many of the wedding guests had written to express their gratitude for inviting them to share in this unique Italian experience. In fact, there are already demands for a five year anniversary “reunion!” To top it off, the entire week in the castle only cost what a typical country club would have charged us for half a day in the US – making it one of the best decisions we made.

When I saw the photos of the locations in Italy I thought it would be a perfect place for our wedding. I never dreamed it would be so amazing in real life! Julie and Camilla were truly wonderful in helping us plan the wedding from so far away. They recommended a fabulous catering, the photographers, and even a musician. My expectations were far exceded, and we had the most fairytale wedding ever! Wedding Italy I Do had organized everything perfectly. My husband and I didn't have to worry about anything. We had 50 guests (friends & family) join us for the week. Julie and Camilla were able to accommodate all of the extra guests with their conveniently nearby villas and hotels. The guests were utterly thrilled with the charm and beauty of this places. The professional wedding photos turned out so beautifully that I had to have two volumes of wedding albums! Of course, the castle and its grounds were so picturesque, that I really did feel like a princess on the wedding day. I would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone thinking about having a wedding in Italy. The whole week was truly magical. The cooks at the castle were simply wonderful and extremely helpful with all the guests coming and going throughout the day. I wouldn't have done it any differently and I know that it will be as memorable to our guests as it will be to us. Infact, everyone is al ready asking us when we're planning the reunion at the castle! Italy is definately one of my most favorite places in the world. I can't possibly thank Julie and Camilla enough! |
